Our Veterinary Services

  • We operate in accordance with the standards set by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

  • Veterinary procedures are performed by qualified and trained staff. Depending on the case, work may involve supervised trainees.

  • Services are available during regular hours, with emergency cover outside these times via referral or on-site arrangements.

  • Appointments should be booked in advance—walk-ins may not always be accommodated, but we will always try to see you if a vet is on-site.

  • In emergencies, we may need to act swiftly without prior consultation.

  • Your pet’s medical records are securely maintained and can be transferred upon request, should you so wish.

  • Please arrange your pet insurance; we do not provide insurance, but we advise obtaining suitable coverage.

Prescriptions and Medication

  • Prescriptions are issued only by qualified staff after a veterinary assessment.

  • Repeat prescriptions require prior authorisation; please request reasonably in advance.

  • Extraction of prescriptions may involve a fee, covering staff time and resources.

  • Prescriptions can be collected at our practice or dispensed elsewhere on your behalf.

Respecting Our Staff and Community

  • We expect courteous, respectful behaviour from all clients. Unacceptable conduct, including aggression, abuse, or threats, may result in the refusal of service or removal from our premises.

  • We enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards our staff and other members of the public who may be in the building, including but not limited to: violence, harassment, or misconduct.

Terminating Our Service

Your Right to Cancel:
You can conclude the service at any time by notifying us in person, via email, or in writing. Ensure your pet’s ongoing care is arranged with another provider and settle any outstanding payments.

Our Right to End Service:
We may cancel or refuse service immediately if there’s misconduct, breach of terms, or nonpayment, or for other valid reasons.

Handling Concerns or Complaints

If you have an issue with our services, please don't hesitate to contact us using our Complaints Procedure, available on our website. You also have legal rights under consumer law, including the right to request reassurance or refunds if services are not provided with due care and skill.

Payment Terms

  • Cost estimates are provided where possible. If total costs are likely to exceed the estimates, we will inform you beforehand unless the life of your pet depends on immediate action by the vet.

  • Payment is due when services are provided—either at the end of the appointment or upon discharge.

  • Accepted payments include cash, debit, credit cards and cheques.

  • Outstanding balances may lead to collection procedures and additional charges.

  • We can submit insurance claims on your behalf if authorised; a fee may apply.

Responsibility for Loss or Damage

  • We accept liability for foreseeable harm caused by negligence or breach of contract.

  • We are not responsible for consequential losses, business damages, or misuse of medication.

  • Our liability is limited to the total fees paid or the maximum insurance cover available.

Use of Your Personal Data

Your privacy is important to us. We will handle your data following our Privacy Policy (link on our website). We collect only the necessary information to provide services and communicate with you effectively.
